You will receive your personalized name badge when you register. Please wear your name badge throughout the conference, in particular for the coffee and lunch breaks. In case you have lost your badge, please report at the conference office.
ATMs (cash dispensers) are available at most of the banks in downtown Dresden; often they are accessible 24 h/day.
Certificate of Attendance
A certificate of attendance will be issued upon request at the conference office.
A cloakroom is located next to the registration area. Coats and luggage can be deposited during the opening hours of the conference office.
Coffee and Lunch Breaks
Coffee, tea and water will be served in the break and a lunch buffet is included in the registration fee. Please wear your name badge throughout the congress.

The official German currency is the EURO. Traveller`s Cheques are accepted by all banks and major hotels in principal cities. Their use in Germany for general purposes is not as popular as in some other countries, and may incur additional charges. International credit cards are accepted in hotels, department stores and restaurants. They are not widely accepted in smaller shops such as bakeries, butchers and news vendors where only cash is accepted or the German EC card. All convertible foreign currencies (www.oanda.com) are exchangable at all major banks.
Electric current in Germany is without exception AC 230V/50Hz. Sockets only fit round two-pin plugs (use of adapters is necessary for all devices).

Insurance and Liability
The Organizers do not accept liability for personal injury or loss or damage of private property of participants and accompanying persons either during or while travelling to the conference. Participants are strongly recommended to seek insurance coverage for health and accident, lost luggage and trip cancellation.
The official language of the conference is English.

Participants are kindly requested to keep their mobile phones off in the meeting rooms during sessions.
Speakers are requested to upload their presentations at the slide desk neighbouring the registration desk well in advance of their sessions, preferably in the day before. Presentations need to be compatible with Microsoft Windows 7; Powerpoint or pdf format is required.
Use of speakers’ own computers is discouraged as it may cause significant delay and out-phasing of the parallel sessions.
The lecture halls are in the basement (Großer Saal, Saal 1, Saal 2, Saal 3, Saal 4, Saal 5 – plenary sessions and parallel sessions) and upstairs in the first floor (Konf. 1+2 – parallel session Nanomaterials and Product seminar).
Parking for passenger cars:
The Maritim Hotel & International Congress Center Dresden has a parking availability in the basement for 390 cars. The entrance is located on the left hand side of the Congress Centre. (max. height: 2,05m)
Parking fees: 2,00 € per hour / 18 € per day
Parking for pick-up trucks:
The Maritim Hotel & International Congress Center Dresden has 15 parking spaces available for pick-up trucks. To obtain a parking space for a pick-up truck you will need to register.
Parking fees: 25 € per day
The poster area is in the basement in the lobby in front of the lecture halls.
Preferred poster format A0; max. poster size possible 95 cm in width and 1.4 m in height.
Posters have to be fixed with adhesive tape; poster strips will be provided.

Authors are requested to be available at their posters in at least one of the poster sessions. Organizers do not take liability for posters not removed in time.
Poster Awards will be sponsored by ACS Biomacromolecules, Elsevier, Wiley-VCH, and RCS Polymer Chemistry. The awards will be handed over in the closing session on Friday, June 26, 2015.
All participants of the congress are invited to vote on the best posters! Respective ballots will be provided in the conference materials.

Pictures taken at EPF 2015 are used exclusively by EPF2015 organizing committee and GDCh for documentation, news coverage and advertisement.

Dresden has a very well developed public transport system. Trams and buses in the city centre are operated by the Dresden Transport Services and regional transport is taken over by the Oberelbe Transport Services. Tickets can be bought on board the trams and busses, at stops and at service points. City trains also run in Dresden and the surrounding area. Travel centres in the Dresden Hauptbahnhof (main train station) and in Dresden-Neustadt will provide you with further information.

Tipping and Etiquette
Service charges and VAT are generally included in the price. It is typical to "round up" the price by 5 - 10% to amount to a round figure.

The multi-lingual trained Tourist Informations will be happy to help you discover Dresden's hidden and most scenic corners. Visit the Dresden Information in the QF, Neumarkt 2, near by the Frauenkirche. You can also pick up different Dresden-Cards while you are there.
EPF 2015 will take place at the Internationale Congress Centre Dresden (ICD). The ICD is a state-of-the-art conference centre located in the city's old town on the bank of the River Elbe.
